Stephanie George, Oneida/French Canadian, is a mom, wife, Indigenous Midwife and IBCLC. She works at an Indigenous Birthing Centre. She teaches Indigenous Health at McMaster University and Cultural Safety at York University. She sits on Boards of Directors in the Lactation, Women’s Shelters and Professional Theatre. Her focus is providing culturally appropriate care for Indigenous families and training Indigenous IBCLCs in Canada.
